About Us
Island Crave Catering was founded by Tony Collins, a proud Montrealer whose love for service began at O’Brien Church in Montreal. What started in 1995 as a passion for music and DJing soon expanded into the kitchen, where Tony learned the joy of food and community while working alongside dedicated women of the church.
After years of volunteering and perfecting his craft, Tony went on to study the art of cooking and restaurant management under Miss Janet, owner of Janet’s Spicy Island Restaurant—Montreal’s best Jamaican takeout. With this foundation, he built Island Crave Catering to share the authentic flavors of the Caribbean with the world.
At Island Crave, we cater events of all sizes, church banquets, weddings, corporate gatherings, parties, bridal and baby showers, pastor appreciations, Christmas dinners, and more. Our specialty lies in Guyanese, Jamaican, and Caribbean cuisine, always prepared with fresh herbs, spices, and halal meats to ensure quality and authenticity in every bite.
